Figura theater festival

The Figura Theater Festival Baden is an international biennial for picture , object and puppet theater , which takes place in Baden and Wettingen . The Figura Theater Festival was first held in 1994. The organizer is the FiguraTheaterfestival association . For six days the festival shows contemporary puppet theater from Switzerland and other countries in the theaters and on the streets of Baden. The festival directors are Eveline Gfeller (artistic director) and Irène Howald (production director).

The Figura is aimed primarily at adults, but also school classes and families.

As part of the festival, the Grünschnabel Prize is awarded - a CHF 10,000 prize for young artists.
