Puppet theater winter
The Winter Puppet Theater was founded in 1996 in Finland on the Åland archipelago by the puppeteer and writer Maren Winter and the cabaret artist Willi Winter .
The productions were represented at Scandinavian Theater Days as well as at international festivals in Germany and Austria. The stage has been based in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania since 2000 and travels as a touring theater through the entire German-speaking region.
The pieces are staged in a mixed form of puppet theater and drama . Light, music and atmospheric images support the atmosphere and are contrasted with exciting play. The repertoire alternates between literary sources and self-developed stories. It is aimed at kindergartens, schools and, above all, families.
The theater is a member of
- Association of German Puppet Theaters
- State Association of Free Theaters Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania
