Filipe Augusto (born August 12, 1993 in Itambé ; full name Filipe Augusto Carvalho Souza ) is a Brazilian football player .

Career

society

Filipe Augusto played for EC Bahia as a youth since 2009 and was a member of the professional squad in 2012 without any competitive appearances.

From summer 2012 he continued his career abroad by moving to the Portuguese club Rio Ave FC . From this club he was loaned to the clubs FC Valencia and Sporting Braga one after the other and handed over to Benfica Lisbon in the summer of 2017.

For the 2018/19 season, Braga loaned him to the Turkish first division club Alanyaspor . After a season he left this club and was given up by Benfica to Rio Ave FC.

National team

In 2012 Filipe Augusto played for the Brazilian U-20 national team and in 2014 for the Brazilian U-23 national team .
