Filter system
Filter systems serve on the one hand for environmental protection , on the other hand to reduce energy consumption or for more economical operation of systems.
One differentiates at least:
- Filtering of air or exhaust air
- Cleaning of combustion and flue gases
- Filtering of industrial and drinking water
- Purification of sewage
- Filtering floors.
The group of filter systems ( FA ) in drainage technology is divided into
- mechanical filter (MF)
- mechanical filters with upstream retention (MFvR)
- mechanical retention filters (MRF)
- Soil filter
- Soil filters with upstream retention (BFvR) were only rarely built and have not been able to establish themselves.
- Retention soil filters (RBF) have become the state of the art .
In particular when filtering suspended matter (dust), user protection when changing filters has recently become an increasingly important issue. One speaks here of so-called containment . Companies use this trend to ensure security with established technologies in the new context.
