A felting needle is a thin needle, the surface of which has a fine barbed structure. Repeated piercing into the material such as B. Wool, fine thread structures are hooked together.

Applications

Felting needles are normally used in larger machines for the industrial production of felt , for example from wool. However, there are also craft felting needles (and felting needle holders) that can be used to do felting by hand.
