Fimbria hippocampi

The Fimbria hippocampi , also Fimbria fornicis , are a thin lamella of white matter that form the beginning of the fornix at the end of the bar . It rests on the dentate gyrus and serves as a base for the choroid plexus of the lateral ventricles . The Fimbria hippocampi belong to the subiculum and thus to the limbic system and consist of fiber bundles of the alveus .
