FinanzOnline
FinanzOnline is a web application operated by Bundesrechenzentrum GmbH (in Vienna) on behalf of the Federal Ministry of Finance , which is used to deal with many tax matters online. The user authenticates himself to the financial administration with his personal access data, which he received beforehand by RSa letter , or with a citizen card .
In some cases, declarations relating to the tax have to be submitted electronically if it is reasonable for the taxpayer. In addition, submission deadlines are extended if the declaration is submitted via FinanzOnline.
Trivia
The album Back to Ovulation by the Austrian band Horst (known from the TV show Herz von Österreich ) , released in 2014, contains a song called Finanz Online , which deals with FinanzOnline and a visit to an Austrian tax office in a humorous way.
