Company training association Upper Austria

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The company training association Upper Austria (dec. FAV Upper Austria ) is one of the country Upper Austria , the Economic Chamber of Upper Austria and the Labor Upper Austria in 2000, founded the organization in May in Linz in support of enterprises in training their apprentices and apprentice instructor .

The association currently looks after 850 companies with 3500 apprentices. The increasing specialization of individual companies often makes it impossible for them to cover the entire breadth of a professional profile within the framework of vocational training . Even if operational activities are outsourced, essential knowledge of the job profiles can no longer be imparted. The company training association promotes the amalgamation of training companies or other suitable institutions to form training associations.

The objective is to enable young people to receive comprehensive and high-quality training in those places where the training company cannot impart all the skills and knowledge of a job itself.

From the multitude of problems that arise in practice, some examples are given:

  • Numerous companies have outsourced their bookkeeping to a tax consultant and can therefore no longer fulfill the job description of the apprenticeship as an "office clerk".
  • A company that has specialized in the production of windows, stairs or kitchens can only partially convey the job description of a carpenter to an apprentice.
  • A motor vehicle workshop that specializes in two-wheelers can certainly train a two-wheeler specialist who is in demand on the labor market, but it cannot fulfill the job description of a motor mechanic itself to a large extent.

The organization provides interested companies with a service package for training in the network. With the annual course catalog, the association also provides a good overview of possible training measures for the various apprenticeships.
