Flávio Pereira Faroni (born August 9, 1981 in São Paulo , called Flávio ) is a Brazilian football player .

Career

Flávio has been playing football since he was four, but only signed up for a club (third division Guapira Sao Paulo ) when he was 16 . Other Brazilian clubs he has played for are Botafogo Rio de Janeiro Brasil , Corinthians São Paulo and SC Internacional .

His first stop as a player in Germany was the district division Prussia TV Werl . From January to December 2004 he played for VfL Osnabrück , with whom he was relegated to the Regionalliga Nord. From January to May 2005 he played under Frank Pagelsdorf , who was initially his coach in Osnabrück, for Al-Nasr Dubai , but then moved back to Osnabrück.

In the meantime, Frank Pagelsdorf had taken over the coaching position of the second division club Hansa Rostock . This brought Flávio to Rostock in August 2005. Flávio could not fight for a regular place and came to only four appearances in the season. At the end of the season, the club did not withdraw the option to extend the contract and parted company with him.
