The Jabaliya refugee camp ( Arabic مخيم جباليا, DMG Muḫayyam Ǧabāliyā ) is located 3 km north of the city of Jabaliya in the Gaza Strip . It is 1.4 km² in size. It's part of the Palestinian refugee problem . In 2005, 106,691 people were registered in the refugee camp.

It was built by the United Nations Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Middle East (UNRWA) in 1948 after the Palestine War. In December 1987 the First Intifada started here. In July 2014, a school was destroyed in an attack by the Israeli army; 40 people perished.
