Printed circuit board

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The flat module is a special case of the electronic module . The term “electronic flat module” is representative of the entire classic “on-board” integration approach, in which discrete components on a circuit board , which serves as a very flat circuit carrier, are electrically and mechanically connected to a functional unit in a hybrid construction. In addition, there are other integration options such as on-chip SoC - monolithic integration in a semiconductor ( IC ), and in-package SiP - integration of the microcomponents in a miniaturized housing.
