history
Flachglas Wernberg Beteiligungs GmbH emerged from the employee buy-out of today's Flachglas Wernberg GmbH from the British Pilkington Group in 1999. In 2005 the holding company acquired Glashandelsgesellschaft Profi mbH, Flachglas Nord-Ost GmbH in 2007 and Flachglas Schweiz AG in 2009. The majority of the companies acquired are subsidiaries of Flachglas Wernberg GmbH.
