Flat head bullet

Flat head bullets are bullets with a flattened bullet head shape. They are made for a wide variety of purposes.

They are available as:

  • Lead bullets without casing,
  • as a partial jacket (free bullet tip),
  • as a full jacket or rarely as a solid bullet,
  • either as a solid bullet or as a bullet pressed from metal chips.

Their area of ​​application extends from hunting and self-defense to sport shooting .

The term flat-headed bullet itself is only a rough generic term for a wide variety of bullet shapes, all of which can have the above features.
