Flat die press

A flat die press is a press used to produce pellets . It essentially consists of a pan mill , the pan roller, the vertical shaft and a perforated die (a metal tool with holes , a principle similar to that of the meat grinder ). It forms the core of a pelletizing plant . The products are pressed from the pan through a die and pressed into endless strands, which are cut into the desired particle length with knives. A classic product are pellets made from wood shavings and sawdust.
