Flag of the Sakha Republic
The Sakha flag is the official flag of the Yakuts and the Sakha Autonomous Republic within Russia . The flag was officially set into law on October 14, 1992.
The flag has a ratio of 1: 2 and consists of four horizontal stripes. These have the colors (from top to bottom) light blue, white, red and green. The height of the light blue stripe is 3/4 of the total flag height, that of the white and red stripes are 1/16 and that of the green 1/8 of the flag height. In the center of the light blue stripe there is a white circle with a diameter of 2/5 of the flag height.

- Blue field: characteristic cold and harsh polar climate of Yakutia
- White stripe: symbol of purity, snow, hope, wisdom and kindness
- Red stripe: symbol of strength, courage, honor and aspiration
- Green stripe: symbol of health, joy and hope
