The Fleming + spirals GmbH & Co. KG was founded in 1986 and is a German company in the agriculture and food industry based in Garrel . It produces compound feed , trades in agricultural goods and operates a petrol station.

history

The company was founded on June 1, 1986 as a merger of the agricultural businesses Clemens Fleming , Nikolausdorf and B. Wendeln jun. GmbH , Garrel founded. Both companies had previously been active in the agricultural and building materials trade for many years.

In 1991 the sales area was expanded for the first time when the LeiKra Kraftfuttermittel GmbH feed factory in Leipzig was taken over. There, compound feed is produced for processing companies in Saxony, Saxony-Anhalt, Thuringia and Brandenburg. The company has been involved in Friedrich Diekgerdes Landhandel GmbH in Hemmelte since 2002. With a majority stake in AWE - Agrarhandel Weser-Ems in Varel, the sales area expanded to the north in 2004.

Companies

The group of companies produces feed for pigs, poultry and cattle at six locations. In addition to the production and sale of compound feed, the company also offers an extensive range of products for everything to do with arable farming. These include seeds, fertilizers and pesticides. Fleming + Wendeln also sells organic fertilizers and trades in fuels as well as grain, soy meal, rapeseed meal and other components.

The managing directors are Peter Fleming, Alexander Fleming and Josef Abeling.
