The construction

The oldest part from the 12th century is inserted as the western part of the north aisle in a neo-Gothic brick building from the late 19th century.

Furnishing

The church, which was extended to the east in the 14th century and which was given a four-bay vault in the 15th century, was painted on the walls and vaults by Albertus Pictor around 1480 . Its vault paintings, which were never overpainted and only slightly retouched, are well preserved. They represent the glorifications of Mary in the eastern yoke, the glorifications of Christ in the second yoke, figures from the Old Testament in the third yoke, David and northern legend figures in the fourth yoke, the story of Cain and Abel, St. Olof, prophet, the archangel Michael weighing souls, John the Baptist, the Manna rain and Moses, on the north wall the birth of Christ, Solomon and the Queen of Sheba, the adoration of the kings and the circumcision of Jesus.
