Florent Marchet (born June 21, 1975 in Bourges , France ) is a French singer-songwriter , composer and writer .

Life

Florent Marchet comes from a musical family. At the age of five he learned the piano. He later studied music at the conservatoire de musique et de danse de Bourges . From 1996 he then played for various bands, in smaller bars, theaters and concerts. During this time he learned other instruments such as guitar, bass, mandolin and accordion. From 2001 he concentrated on writing his own songs and released his first album in 2004 with Gargilesse . After he published three other musical works with Rio Baril , Courchevel and Noël's Songs , he made his debut as a film composer in the French film À moi seule .

He works with the French writer Arnaud Cathrine , with whom he published the audio book Frère Animal in 2008.
