Florin Posteucă

Florin Posteucă (* 1977 ) is a former badminton player from Romania .

Career

Posteucăs first win a national championship in men's singles dates back to 1994. He was able to defend this individual title for nine years in a row until 2002. After a two-year hiatus, he won his last title in 2005. In doubles with Nicusor Vintila he won for the first time in 1995. He was able to fight for this title again in 1996 and 1997. In 2000 and 2001 he won with his new doubles partner Ciprian Straut , and in 2003 with Vicent Dusnoki . He won his only mixed title in 1998 with Adina Posteucă .

Internationally, he represented Romania at the European Team Championship in 2007. In individual, he competed at the 1999 World Championship in Copenhagen and at the 1998 European Championship.

After his sporting career, he was active as a badminton official.
