Flota Świnoujście (officially Miejski Klub Sportowy "Flota" Świnoujście ) is a Polish football club from Świnoujście (German Swinoujscie ) in the West Pomeranian Voivodeship .

history

The club was founded in 1957 under the name WKS Flota Świnoujście and played for a long time in lower class leagues until it rose to the Unibet 1st league in 2008 and reached 7th place in the premiere season. In the 2009/10 season, the club repeated this placement. The two former Polish internationals Marcin Adamski and Arkadiusz Bąk are the club's two most famous former players. In the 2010/11 season , the club narrowly failed as third place in the promotion to the Ekstraklasa . Flota Świnoujście went into his seventh and so far last season in professional football in the 2014/15 season. Due to financial difficulties, the game was stopped and the club was re-registered on June 20, 2015. In the 2015/16 season, the club started again in the seventh class class A.
