Rhon, who dates back to 2200, decides to pay another visit to his 20th century friend Mark. This time he is not planning a long journey into the past, but wants to study the "petrol age" a little. Above all, he wants to see live crocodiles , as they have died out in his presence. He meets Mark in Munich and they both decide to fly to Jamaica because Mark knows something there. His family spent their last vacation there.

He remembers the young man Leroy, whose sister works on a crocodile farm. Leroy himself gives tours of a complex of caves in Runaway Bay, from which Don Cristobal Arnaldo di Yassi, a Spanish governor, escaped from English conquerors. Mark and Rhon let Leroy lead them through the caves before they drive to the farm and Rhon can look at crocodiles for the first time. Impressed by the story of the di Yassi they heard, they decide to travel to the 17th century to investigate the matter, as Rhon cannot believe that the Spaniard really rowed as far as Cuba . So they go on another dangerous journey into the past.
