course
Nine Fairchild C-119 transport aircraft took off on a paratrooper training flight when one of the C-119s ran into trouble with an engine at an altitude of 4,000 feet. The C-119 lost altitude and was then jerked upwards with a jerk, where it collided with another C-119. One of the C-119 (registration number 53-7841 ) crashed into a field near Altensteig , while the other C-119 ( 53-3222 ) was able to stay in the air for a short time before it finally crashed into a forest near Edelweiler.
