Prix ​​Grand-Duc Adolphe

The Prix ​​Grand-Duc Adolphe (German Grand Duke Adolph Prize ) is a Luxembourg art prize donated in 1902 by Grand Duchess Adelheid Marie von Anhalt-Dessau .

The prize was named after Adolph Wilhelm Carl August Friedrich von Nassau-Weilburg , Grand Duke of Luxembourg. The award is made by the Cercle artistique de Luxembourg (CAL). Initially annually, from 1995 it will be awarded every two years.

Award winners

In the years 1903, 1912, 1921, 1934, 1949, 1955, 1961, 1966, 1974, 1978, 1985, 1986, 1988, 1991, 1993 and 1994 the prize was not awarded. From 1995 the prize will only be awarded once every two years.
