Fluke Ridge is a narrow ridge in Graham Land on the Antarctic Peninsula . It rises up to 300 m high on the northern flank of the Flask Glacier near its confluence on the Oskar II coast into the Weddell Sea .
The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee named numerous geographic features in the area after things related to whales . This formation has been named after the fluke , the tail fin of whales , since 1988 .
