Flying Turns in Knoebel's Amusement Park & Resort ( Elysburg , Pennsylvania , USA ) is a wooden toboggan ride that was officially opened on October 5, 2013. It was modeled on a similar train from the 1920s, designed by John Norman Bartlett and John A. Miller . The concept corresponds to a steel bobsleigh run, but the route is made of wood like the original runs. The layout of the track is also largely identical to that of the prototype in Riverview Park ( Chicago , Illinois ).

Trains

Flying Turns has four trains with three cars each. Two people can be seated one behind the other in each car, so that a train can hold six passengers. Passengers must be at least 1.07 m tall to be allowed to ride.
