Flynt (real name Julien Vuidard ) is a French rapper from Paris .

Career

Flynt started rapping in the early 1990s. He first drew attention to himself in 1998 with the piece Choc frontal on a mixtape by rappers from the 18th arrondissement of Paris, which he had also produced.

In the mid-2000s he started producing his own EPs. He released three EPs between 2004 and 2007 before his first album J'éclaire ma ville was released. It was a respectable success, but missed the top 100 of the French album charts. It was five years before his second album. Itinéraire until peaked at number 40 on the charts. The video for the song Mon pote , which was recorded with Orelsan , attracted attention beyond France . It was put together from numerous well-known movie scenes into which the two rappers were inserted.

Flynt is a family man, holds a university degree, and is known for his polished writing.
