The Folger Rock is a cliff rock in the archipelago of the South Shetland Islands . It is 4 km north of Harmony Point northwest of Nelson Island .

The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee named it on 1961 after Tristan Folger, captain of the US sealer William and Nancy from Nantucket , who operated between 1820 and 1821 in the nearby Harmony Cove .
