The research community 20. Juli e. V. is a specialist society that supports scientific projects on the history of resistance against National Socialism and communicates their results to the public.
The research community July 20 was founded on July 20, 1973 by members of the July 20, 1944 foundation. It is dedicated to researching the history of the resistance against National Socialism in Germany and in the European countries formerly occupied by the Nazi regime in order to keep its importance alive in public. It awards research contracts and promotes the publication of research results and other publications. She also conducts lectures, conferences, colloquiums and similar events.
