The research association of drug manufacturers e. V. (FAH) is an association of companies active in the pharmaceutical industry for joint, pre-competitive research based in Bonn . In addition to organizing and carrying out joint research, the association represents the interests of the medium-sized pharmaceutical industry vis-à-vis ministries and authorities.

The aim of the FAH is to organize and carry out cross-company cooperation in research and development work in the area of ​​the pre-competition.

history

In 1992, the Federal Association of Drug Manufacturers, together with pharmaceutical companies, founded the Research Association of Drug Manufacturers as a scientific institution for joint research by mainly small and medium-sized drug manufacturers.

The FAH is a member of the working group of industrial research associations "Otto von Guericke" .

The FAH helps with the transfer of research results into practice and serves as a discussion platform for cross-company topics, the results of which are then transferred into practice.
