The  Fort Wayne Fusion  were an  arena football team from Fort Wayne, Indiana that played in  af2  . Their home games wore the merger in the Allen County War Memorial Coliseum .

history

The merger was founded in 2006 and started operations in af2 in 2007. The owner was Jeremy Golden. Mike McCaffrey was hired as general manager and presented the official logo of the merger, which was co-designed by fans.

The first game in franchise history was won at home 36:28 against the Green Bay Blizzard in front of 5,133 spectators. Fort Wayne ended the season with five wins to eleven losses and was only penultimate in the Midwest Division.

The mergers were eventually dissolved after just one season.
