Forum Copenhagen
The Forum Copenhagen is an event hall in Frederiksberg , Copenhagen . It was built in 1947 after the previous building from 1926 was destroyed by an attack by the Holger Danske resistance group in 1943. In the following decades it was thoroughly rebuilt in several steps.
The exhibition area has a gross size of 8,000 m² and a net size of 5,000 m². For concerts, the hall offers 10,000 standing places or 8,500 seats. In 1997 the roof structure was renewed to improve the acoustics for concerts. In 2009 around 450,000 visitors came to the event hall.

In 2011 the World Music Expo , the Danish Music Awards and the BogForum were held here.
