Forum historiae iuris

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The forum historiae iuris (fhi) is the first electronic journal for legal history

concept

In 1996 the forum historiae iuris was founded as the first electronic journal for legal history in Europe. In 2014 the fhi appears in a new design and with expanded categories and functions. The platform offers two areas. In the classic journal section, scientific articles, reviews and debates are published online and in open access . The forum presents news, projects and specialist journals from research on legal history; such news can also be submitted by users of the website. This gives the fhi the traditional rubrics of a scientific journal, but at the same time deepens the networking in research and reflects the diversity of the subject.

The editorial board consists of an international network of scholars, so that the forum historiae iuris promotes the international and cross-border exchange of news and information on topics of legal history. The navigation languages are currently German, English, French, Italian and Spanish.
