Foundation

The Foundation ( engl. For basis ) referred to in the cosmetic one of the lowest layers of cosmetic products on regions of the face is applied, on which later the remaining makeup follows. The foundation enables the cosmetic product applied afterwards to have improved adhesion and optical optimization if the skin has been carefully cleaned and, if necessary , peeled beforehand . In order to achieve the best possible effect, the application should begin in the middle of the T-zone and the foundation should be distributed from the inside out to the edges. Before the first application, a small amount of foundation should be applied to the arm, hand or a small area on the face in order to rule out an allergic reaction as far as possible.

There are different types of foundations on the market depending on the type of skin being treated .
