Fox Racing Shox is an American company headquartered in Watsonville , California , which specializes in the production of damping systems, suspensions and suspension forks , primarily for mountain bikes , motorcycles , quads and snowmobiles . Both steel spring and air cushioned elements are offered.

history

In 1974 Bob Fox drew the first prototypes of air dampers for motocross use . In 1977 the company under the name was Fox Factory, Inc. established. After numerous victories and successes, Fox also focused on auto and snowmobile sports. Since 2001 the company has been manufacturing suspension forks for bicycles under the name Fox Forks . In November 2015, Fox took over the Italian spring element manufacturer Marzocchi .
