Frédéric Lenoir, 2007

Frédéric Lenoir (born June 3, 1962 in Madagascar ) is a French religious scholar and sociologist.

Life

Lenoir studied at the École des Hautes Études en Sciences Sociales ( Paris ) and was able to successfully complete this degree with a doctorate . Subsequently, he got a job at the Center d'études interdisciplinaires des faits religieux (CEIFR).

From 2004 Lenoir also acts as the responsible editor-in-chief of the magazine “Le Monde des Religions”. Since September 2009 he has also been responsible for the program “Les racines du ciel” ( France Culture ).
