François Dubet

François Dubet (born May 23, 1946 in Périgueux ) is a French sociologist .

Dubet teaches at the University of Bordeaux -II. He has published works on social movements and urban segregation . His more recent publications deal with the crisis of the welfare state and the subjective feeling of injustice in the workplace. In a large-scale empirical study, Dubet and his research team determined the subjective perception of injustice in around 1,500 employees (workers, employees, academics, farmers) in one-on-one, group discussions and with standardized questionnaires . Dubet breaks down the concept of justice according to three basic principles: “ Equality"," Performance "and" Autonomy ".
