François Lacour

François Lacour was a French racing car driver who also competed under the pseudonym Martial .

Racing career

François Lacour was active in sports car racing in the early 1950s . In this context, he contested the Le Mans 24-hour race twice . In 1950 he was Pierre Veyron's partner in the MAP powered by a 5-liter diesel engine. After driving 39 laps, the car broke down due to a leak in the water tank. In 1952 he drove the race together with Mario Damonte on an Osca MT4 1300 Coupe Vignale . This time the use was stopped by a damaged clutch.
