Officine Specializzata Costruzioni Automobili , OSCA for short , was an Italian manufacturer of automobiles .

Company history

The Maserati brothers had already sold their previous company, Maserati , to the entrepreneur Adolfo Orsi in 1937 . However, they were tied to Maserati for ten more years through a contract with the new owner . After this period they founded the Officine Specializzata Costruzioni Automobili company in Bologna in 1947 for the production of automobiles. Production ended in 1967.

There are sports and racing cars produced. Most vehicles were equipped with four-cylinder engines with displacements between 750 and 2000 cm³. Only the 2000 S model , which was produced from 1952 to 1956, had a six-cylinder engine .
