Company history
The Turin-based company , which was already making toys, began producing automobiles in 1959. The brand name was SILA . Production ended in 1961.

The only model Autoretta was an open microcar . The chassis carried the steering column, two seats, the tank, the engine and the four fenders. In addition, there was no body . The single - cylinder two-stroke engine with a displacement of 200 cm³ and 11 hp was mounted in the rear and drove a rear wheel. The transmission had four gears. The design-related maximum speed was specified as 74 km / h. There were also children's vehicles, including a replica of a Ferrari 290 Mille Miglia from 1956 with an electric motor , of which around 10,000 were made.
