Cizeta Automobili SpA , previously Cizeta Moroder Motors Srl , was an Italian manufacturer of automobiles .

Company history

Claudio Zampolli and Giorgio Moroder founded in 1988 in Modena , the company Cizeta Moroder Motors Srl and started the development of automobiles, as the Cizeta-Moroder should be marketed. The name part Cizeta refers to the initials C and Z from Claudio Zampolli, Italian spoken Ci Zeta. When Giorgio Moroder left the company, it was renamed Cizeta Automobili SpA . In 1995 production ended after just eight copies had been made.

Claudio Zampolli went to the USA after the end of production in Italy , founded the new company Cizeta Automobili USA in California and has been manufacturing new vehicles for customers ever since.

The only model was the Cizeta V16T. This was a supercar designed by Marcello Gandini . A sixteen-cylinder engine provided the drive .
