The Catania company started manufacturing automobiles in 1984. Production ended in 1988. The brand name was ACAM .

The company introduced micro-car with built-in motors of Piaggio ago. The Nica model was available both as a tricycle and as a four- wheeler . Air- cooled engines with a displacement of 125 cm³ or 218 cm³ provided the drive . The Galassia model , also called Zeta , followed in 1987. Its engine had a displacement of only 50 cm³.
