Company history

The Pianoro company took over Autozodiaco in 1978 . Production ended in 1985.

Buggies

The production of buggies , like the ones Autozodiaco had produced, initially continued. For this purpose chassis from the VW Beetle were used. One model was the Damaca designed by Tom Tjaarda .

Microcar

The small car models Charly and Snuggy corresponded to the Autozodiaco Charly . A built-in engine from Moto Morini with 50 cm³ displacement provided the drive . The open version of the model was the Snuggy Tobrouk . Later models had Motobécane engines with either 50 cm³ or 250 cm³ displacement. The vehicles were also offered in Germany .
