Giuseppe Milanaccio founded the automobile production company in Turin in 1946 . The brand name was OPES . Production ended in 1950.

The first model Ninfea 700 was a small car with front-wheel drive . The self-supporting body in the shape of a pontoon was made of aluminum , was 372 cm long and offered space for four people. A three - cylinder radial engine with a displacement of 702 cm³ and an output of 18 hp provided the drive . The design-related maximum speed was specified as 85 km / h.
