François Pantillon
François Pantillon (born January 15, 1928 in La Chaux-de-Fonds ) is a Swiss choir director and composer.
François Pantillon conducted his first choirs at the age of 17, when he was still a high school student. At 20 he went to the Conservatoire Royal de Bruxelles , where he studied for five years. Back in Switzerland he founded the Capella Bernensis chamber orchestra . 1972–1997 he directed the Thun City Orchestra. He has also led or directs choirs in Bern , Biel and Neuchâtel .
François Pantillon has composed numerous works.
