Francesco De Meo
Francesco De Meo (born 1963 ) has been the chairman of the Helios clinics since March 2018 .
As the child of an Italian immigrant family, De Meo studied law at the University of Tübingen from 1984 to 1988 after graduating from high school. In 1992 he finally passed his second state examination in law and then received his doctorate in 1994. In the meantime, he worked from 1992 to 1993 as a lawyer in a Stuttgart law firm. In 1994 he switched to the management consultancy Rauser GmbH in Reutlingen, until in 2000 he moved to Helios Kliniken GmbH as head of the legal and human resources department. Since 2001 he has been Managing Director for Human Resources and Law as well as for Research and Science within the Helios Group. In 2008 De Meo became a member of the board (CEO) of the medical technology and health care company Fresenius SE & Co. KGaA and chairman of the management (CEO) of Helios Klinik GmbH. From 2016 to 2018 he became CEO of Helios International Holding, before he finally became Chairman of the Helios Health Group from March 2018.
