Francesco Pellos
Francesco Pellos (or Pellizzati, around 1492) was a mathematician . He came from Nice and in 1492 wrote the work Sen segue de la art de arithmeticha es semblātment de ieumetria dich ho nominatz Cōpendiō de lo abaco (published in Turin), in which the point was used as a decimal separator for the first time according to today's knowledge . Otherwise nothing seems to be known about him.
