Franekervaart
The Franekervaart ( West Frisian Frjentsjerter Feart ) is a canalized waterway in the Dutch province of Friesland . The Franekervaart connects the cities of Franeker and Sneek and runs along the towns of Rien , Tierns , Welsrijp and Winsum . Efforts are currently being made to use the Frisian name as the official name.
