Frank Richter (artist)

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Frank Richter (born September 8, 1963 in Forst ) is a German artist.

After studying communication and media science from 1989 to 1995 at the University of Leipzig, he deals with the phenomenon of hyperspace . Using his own computer programs, he designs four-, five- and six-dimensional cube structures that both challenge and overwhelm our perception. In graphics, sculptures and room installations, room constellations that go beyond the third dimension are recorded in accordance with mathematical rules.

His work has so far been shown in galleries (including gallery “D19” in Chemnitz, gallery “art-in” in Meerane, Museum of Non-conformist Art in Petersburg), at “File-2001” at the São Paulo Biennale in 2001 and shown at media festivals like CYNETart .
