Frank Söhlke

Frank Söhlke is a former German American football player.

career

The Söhlke used in the offensive line played a total of 147 games for the Hildesheim Invaders between 1985 and 1994 (1990 and 1991 in the football Bundesliga ). From 1995 he was back on the field in the top German league, now with the Braunschweig Lions . Until 2007 Söhlke was involved in the German championship titles in 1997, 1998, 1999, 2005, 2006 and 2007. He also won the Eurobowl with Braunschweig in 1999 and 2003 .

In 2001 he became European champion with the German national team, at the 2003 World Cup he was part of the German squad that finished third, in 2005 he won silver with the national team and gold at the World Games in Duisburg in the same year . Söhlke achieved third place with the German national team at the 2007 World Cup.

In 2008 he was awarded the Silver Laurel Leaf . Söhlke also worked as a football referee.
