Frankenstrasse 40 (Stralsund)
The house with the postal address Frankenstraße 40 is a listed building on Frankenstraße in Stralsund .
The two-story , four-axle gabled house was probably built in the 17th century. A triangular gable with a curved crown can be seen above the main cornice .
In the second half of the 19th century, the structure of the facade in the lower part was changed.
The house is located in the core area of the city area recognized by UNESCO as a world cultural heritage site of the “ historic old towns of Stralsund and Wismar ”. It is entered in the list of architectural monuments in Stralsund from 1997 with the number 235.
